Pretrial Services Supervision:

Pretrial services officers perform activities to monitor a defendant's compliance with the conditions of release set by the court. The activities are designed by the case officer to manage risk as it relates to appearance and community safety, and to provide assistance to defendants upon request (e.g., social service referrals).

Supervision activities include but are not limited to office and field contacts with the defendant; collateral contacts with employers, law enforcement agencies and friends and/or relatives of the defendant; placement in substance and/or mental health treatment facilities.
